Ten boutique canvas tents spread across the fynbos slopes of the Pat Busch Mountain Reserve, a private reserve outside Robertson on Route 62 with the Langeberg Mountains as a backdrop. Each tent stands on its own raised deck with a private wood-fired hot tub, an indoor fireplace and an open outlook down the valley — glamping rather than camping, with beds made up and a full kitchen waiting. There's a 9 m saltwater pool, a farm dam two minutes' walk away for kayaking, SUP, fishing and swimming, hiking trails of three to five hours into the reserve, mountain-biking routes, over 100 bird species and a small shop on site. Robertson's wine estates are a short drive away.
