AppleCamp Ceres
Ceres, Western Cape
A rustic, private campsite on the banks of a river on a working apple farm in the Ceres mountains. The whole place goes to one group at a time — no sharing with strangers — with a fully grassed site under shade trees big enough for seven or eight tents. There's an oversized covered braai area and a firepit, a basic kitchen with a sink, prep space and a fridge, and an ablution block with a hot shower, toilet and washbasin. The river runs shallow enough for children to swim and splash in, and there are orchards to wander and mountain-biking and walking trails around the farm. Bring your own camping gear and a few inflatables.
Rates
R2,400 per night for up to 16 guests (exclusive use of the whole campsite). Rates are on a camping basis — bring your own equipment. Pricing varies by group size and season, so confirm with the farm when booking.
