Allandale Guesthouses & De Akker Campsite

De Akker is a 12V Campsite with 12V Anderson plugs, situated 12km outside Citrusdal. Surrounded by mountains & orange trees, De Akker with its quiet & fresh air awaits you with spacious lawn and large trees for shade. A lovely swimming area and jungle gym with swings for the kids. There are solar panel geysers at the ablution, but to give that great camping feeling, the campers need to make a small fire in the donkey, 30 min before shower time, to keep the water heated. We supply the wood for the donkey. 50% of the showers are gas geysers and the other 50% gets warm water from the donkey. The nature is calling you! No marked camping sites. Guests are welcome to book a specific area. There are 12V power boxes throughout the campsite with 4x 12V plugs on each box (2 on each side). Many rustic weddings were also held at the campsite. We only rent as a venue. The campsite can be booked out exclusively for more private camping. We supply braai drums and garbage bins. De Akker is about 800m from the Guesthouses

Allandale Guesthouse nr1 (Lavender) have 3 bedrooms which can accommodate 8 guests. With an open plan, fully equipped kitchen and a cosy fireplace inside, with lounge, family and friends can enjoy their break away from their normal lifestyle to relax & recharge. DSTV and a spacious lawn for the children’s entertainment. A Jacuzzi & outside braai with a gorgeous view of orange trees and mountains surrounding the guesthouse, awaits you. Canvas sailing to close the porch during the cold days or for a bit more privacy. A swimming pool and air-conditioning to keep you cool during the hot days. Towels & linen are supplied in this self-catering guesthouse.

An exceptional view from the porch with an outside braai & jacuzzi to get that amazing nature feeling. Canvas sailing to close the porch during the cold days or for a bit more privacy.
